Chal de algodón reversible y de gran tamaño confeccionado con telas ikat variadas.
Los chales de la marca ANTIMACASSAR han sido creados por el diseñador textil David Earp, que también realiza colecciones exclusivas para otras marcas y tiendas.
Esta pieza cosida a mano lleva en un lado retales de telas en colores vivos, decoradas con la técnica de tintura por reserva ikat, típica de Orissa (India).
En el reverso lleva telas con estampados de flores y círculos en rojo y blanco sobre fondo azul índigo, casi negro.
Las puntadas en lila y rosa chicle, que unen las telas externas y la interior, crean un elemento decorativo adicional.
El chal también resulta perfecto como pequeña colcha o para cubrir una mesa.

Oversized reversible shawl made from assorted ikat cottons.
This shawl is the work of textile designer David Earp who designs his own ranges under the ANTIMACASSAR label, in addition to collaborating with other brands and stores on exclusive collections.
On one side of this hand-stitched piece are bright patches of Oriya resist-dyed ikat fabric. On the reverse are fabrics with prints of flowers and circles in red and white on an indigo blue, almost black, ground.
The lilac and bright pink running stitch, used to join the outer and inner layers of fabric, creates an additional decorative pattern.
The shawl is also ideal to use as a throw, single quilt or table cover.
